I have in the past discussed how and why I may not call someone back if they did not get the position. I have changed this. With my new position I'm in a different situation. I recruit more on a local level now and deal with less volume of open requirements. This has allowed me the opportunity to create more of a relationship with candidates. When I was recruiting on a National basis I had dealt with a larger volume of open requirements which took up more of my time. Recently I have been placing candidates who I have dealt with for months and have gotten to know. As such I return calls all the time.
