Business Analyst in Chicago, IL

Ciber has an immediate need for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) for a client in downtown Chicago. The project involves legacy (mainframe) application transformation to .Net. This represents a long-term opportunity…the candidate has an opportunity to stay here 3 years or more. Key BA characteristics would include:

• Excellent written and verbal communications; comfortable communicating with all levels from executives to troop levels
• Experienced / strong in all aspects of being a BA: requirements definition, process analysis, documenting findings, knowledge transfer, mentoring, etc.
• Exposure to and/or knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative development processes a plus
• Exposure to and/or knowledge of Microsoft technologies…especially, .Net, Sharepoint, Silverlight…would be considered a plus
• Client is working with all the latest versions of Microsoft technologies. (Silverlight has not even been commercially released. Client has done a Proof-of-Concept using Silverlight that was impressive to stakeholders. Silverlight will aid in helping make their application visually rich.)
